Natassa Manitsa
Natassa Manitsa has studied School Psychology (BA & MSc), Translation and British Studies, Marketing, Communication & Social Media Marketing, and quite recently she started her MA in Philosophy and the Arts. She has been a language school owner, a keen blogger, a radio producer, a site chief editor, a teacher trainer, an author, and a translator for more than 25 years. She has delivered numerous seminars, workshops and webinars all over the world.

Cliff Parry
Cliff Parry (MSc TEYL, RSA DTEFLA, BSc, Dip. Management) is Academic Manager at the British Council Greece and has been living and teaching in Greece since 1986.
He has a wide range of teaching experience across all course types and ages, as well as extensive training experience.

Xenia Konstantinopoulou
Xenia Konstantinopoulou (PhD) is a Postdoctoral researcher (A.U.TH.), SpLDs English teacher and co-founder/co-owner of the Foreign Language Centre “My Way”, exclusively for students with SpLDs.

Στην παρούσα ομιλία θα συζητήσουμε τα παρακάτω ερωτήματα:
- Ποιες είναι οι κύριες προκλήσεις που αντιμετωπίζουν οι μαθητές με δυσλεξία στο μάθημα των αγγλικών;
- Πώς μπορούν οι γονείς των παιδιών με δυσλεξία να βοηθήσουν αποτελεσματικά τον μαθητή στο διάβασμα στο σπίτι;
Τέλος, ο/η καθηγητής/τρια που διδάσκει την Αγγλική γλώσσα σε παιδιά με δυσλεξία απαιτείται να είναι κατάλληλα εκπαιδευμένος και να εφαρμόζει εξειδικευμένες, σύγχρονες μεθόδους διδασκαλίας. Επίσης, να εμπλέκει ενεργά τους μαθητές στη διαμόρφωση του προγράμματος αναδει-κνύοντας τις ικανότητές τους, ώστε να αισθανθούν ασφαλείς με τη διαφορετικότητά τους και να την αντιμετωπίσουν ως χάρισμα.
