English language teaching professionals in Greece

On 19 March 2023 the FLF will take place in Patra, at the Astir Hotel. Attended by hundrends of ELT professionals, the spring FL Forum offers an array of talks and workshops. It is a unique opportunity to meet with leading trainers, practicing teachers and publishers.
 
The FLF is not just a book exhibition. It is an event where teachers come to develop professionally and network with their peers.

Plenary Speakers

Katerina Tsilibari

Katerina Tsilibari has been an EFL teacher for more than ten years and runs her own FL school in Kokkoni a province near Corinth. She has achieved, with honors, an MA in Applied Linguistics in TESOL from the Hellenic American University. 

She has worked abroad as an EFL teacher. She has been a semi-finalist for two consecutive years of the YTILI Fellowship Young Transatlantic Innovation Leaders Initiative US department. She has been awarded the 2022 ELT excellence award in the Category of Teaching for Raising Awareness for Social Issues. 

Her interest is focused in Teaching English through project-based learning in order to debunk race and gender stereotypes and also promote empathy and social awareness in the EFL classroom. 

Matt Prior

Matt Prior holds a BA Honours in Psycholinguistics and a Diploma in Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages (DELTA). He has been an ELT professional for 12 years, helping to develop both students and teachers in a number of countries. 

He currently spends the academic year as a teacher, teacher trainer and materials writer for a large chain of foreign language schools in Greece and the summer as a teacher and director of studies for the summer camp of an international school in Switzerland. 

Matt is also a Cambridge English Speaking Examiner and Supervisor and an IELTS Speaking Examiner.

Nick 
Michelioudakis

Nick Michelioudakis has been active in ELT for many years as a teacher, examiner, presenter, and teacher trainer. 

He has worked for a number of publishers and examination boards and he has given seminars and workshops in many countries. 

He has written extensively on Methodology, though he is better known for his ‘Psychology and ELT’ articles which have appeared in numerous newsletters and magazines. 

His areas of interest include Student Motivation, Learner Independence, Teaching one-to-one, and Humour.
